Passover Seder Plate (Black and White Illustrations)

The Passover Seder is one of the highlights of the Jewish tradition. The Seder Plate is the focal point of the Seder dinner. It bears the ceremonial foods around which the Seder is based: the zeroa, egg, bitter herbs, charoset paste, and karpas vegetable and chazeret. Every item on the Seder plate abounds in meaning and allusion.

The design with a combination of wood and ceramics was something I always wanted to try. Finally, I had the courage to try it out and prepare this modern Passover Plate set. I love the way these two materials with their characteristic colors combine beautifully.

The base of the Seder Plate is round and made out of natural bamboo wood. It has a laser wood burning with the Hebrew words Seder pessach Plate. The set arrives with 6 porcelain bowls, each has a unique black design of the symbolic foods of the Seder and their names in Hebrew. Each illustration was especially hand-sketched for this Pessach Plate set.
