Sonder Alpha XC Dynamo is our lightweight and efficient wheelset with a dynamo hub to illuminate your ride on leg power. Ideal for long days of singletrack, shaving time of your favourite red run or even endurance racing in the afternnon and carrying on into the night.

Sonder Juice 110 is a highly efficient, low-drag dynamo hub with a 6V / 3W output. Suitable for mountain, road and gravel bikes, it's tested down to -20°C so you can rely on pedal power even in extreme conditions.

We use the modern boost standard for all our mountain bike wheels. This gives a wider hub to create a stronger, stiffer wheel with more clearance for mud and tyres. Sealed cartridge bearings keep you rolling longer and are more durable and simpler to service.

Our alpha hubs are built to last, a durable 4 pawl setup with a 30 tooth ratchet ring gives 12 degrees between each engagement. We’ve used a 4-pawl freehub for instant acceleration and maximum pedalling efficiency.  the wheels respond the minute you put the hammer down and save wasted watts.

Premium KLM41 (6061) alloy rims make this wheelset ideal tough, technical terrain. 23mm internal width means you can run up to 2.4" tyres for maximum traction and confidence.

Sapim double-butted spokes have been chosen to keep the wheels super-strong, whether you’re landing big drops or loading your bike with luggage.

We lace, build and finish all our wheels in our Nottingham factory, with each one getting a full quality control inspection. We’ve brought the build process in house from overseas to enable us to produce something truly special. We can over see the whole construction of our wheels and keep quality consistent, production efficient and reduce the impact on the planet by not shipping boxes of wheels around the world.
